I am not trying to promote my work within this forum; even though it seems inevitable indirectly, but I will allow the internet to perform that function through Google and varied search engines.
My name is Glyn Hall and I would like to tell you something about my background in music. I want to relate why I am passionate about music theory education and why it encourages me to moderate music theory forums. I want to open discussions promoting champions for music theory education to share revolutionary technology with members of these forums to create afresh understanding of elements of chord construction and chord progression theory. I know this is great music education technology; validated my numerous sources. My desire is to use the feedback of these forums to further enhance music education concepts. I am especially grateful for feedback from music teachers and instrument instructors. A Google, search of my name and the words Photonic Sequence will yield several references to my work and patent. Information related to this music education technology is available for free by email attachment at: Photonicsequence@yahoo.com.
Music education is the roadmap for academic success for many of our young players and keeps us older seasoned players growing in the depth our craft. I am an avid guitarist, lead vocal, BMI Songwriter & Publisher, a lifelong music enthusiast. I was a Country Music Association Artist; as the band leader of Eldora do, a country, southern rock, and blues band. For the past 10 years I have been the band leader of the gospel band known as Eagles In Flight.
As I have grown in my craft I studied theory for years, while I taught its elements for over 25 of them. In 2003, while studying music theory and Crystal Physics I discovered fresh paradigms for illustrating how notes translate into chord structures and how chords are performed in varied progressions for instrumental performance. This paradigm is based on a new order of 21 notes in harmonic sequences that are presented to illustrate 12 tone equal temperament western scales. As a direct result of creating this technology I discovered musical notes can be graphically interpreted in colors transposed from their actual frequencies, which adds another sensory dynamic for music tutorials to promote rapid teaching methods.
Photonic Sequence Paradigm technology has been Patent Pending because it reduces the learning curve for instrument applications and the technology has been used in engineering of a new MIDI controller; hardware for education and performance. Photonic Sequence Paradigms, multiple axis graphics, reduce the learning curve with superior illustrations that define basic and extended chord structures, while guiding performance of chord progressions with supportive numeric mapping systems.
If I am allowed to moderate this forum I will open fresh discussions for constructive feedback regarding music theory education; with the realization of new teaching paradigms that facilitate simplified methods for fast-tracking music. I desire to bring focus and attention for the need of promoting music awareness for all ages; with special significance for K-12 students. The future of great music and musicians is dependant on our voice to bring music education into this new millennium. Current Technology helps to level the playing field, so lets form some teams and play some music.
